IVO – Smart In-Vehicle Onboarding System
IVO is a smart voice assistant designed with automakers and mobility providers in mind. It helps drivers quickly get familiar with cars and navigate driver assistance and safety features.
Available on board, IVO offers explanations and tips based on the driver’s actions or the vehicle’s status. For instance, if the vehicle is traveling at a steady speed for an extended period, the assistant might recommend using cruise control to facilitate driving.
IVO also allows drivers to interact directly with voice commands. Drivers can ask questions like “Where can I find the fog light switch?” or “What does this alert mean?” to receive immediate answers.
As an additional feature, IVO includes a mobile app with augmented reality capabilities. This app allows drivers to explore their vehicles using their smartphone cameras. By pointing the camera at specific components like the steering wheel or cluster, users can see visual overlays that explain key features. The app also offers an interactive cabin tour to guide drivers through essential functions.
